HITS provides Wi-Fi across the campus, computing laboratories equipped for coursework and project work, and a dedicated in-house learning management system.
The institute operates its own learning management system delivering industry-oriented courses and specialised training programmes directly to students, through interactive modules with expert-backed content. It is designed for flexible, skill-focused study that fits around the regular timetable, and bridges the gap between traditional academics and current technology requirements.
Campus computing laboratories support programming coursework, project development and certified training programmes — among them the NASSCOM Generative AI workshop, delivered in the institute’s laboratories, and the Data Science bootcamp in which 62 students worked on three live projects using high-end servers. Cloud computing and DevOps training is also run for computer science students.
From AY 2025–26 the institute integrated AI-based teaching methodologies into its classrooms, using adaptive tools, personalised instruction paths and real-time learning insights so that teaching can respond to how individual students are progressing rather than to a class average.
