Industry engagement sessions on the HITS campus.
Where it fits
HITS works to a stated principle of bringing industry into the campus rather than sending students out to it. The Business Development Centre supports that by managing the institute’s external relationships — the agreements behind the industry interaction sessions, industrial visits, internships and on-campus recruitment drives that run through the academic year.
It works alongside the Career Development Centre, which handles student placement preparation and recruitment, and the Entrepreneurship Development Cell, which supports ventures started by students themselves.
